A Girl's Terrifying Encounter

 



The Blue Man in the Blue Suit with the Sinister Smile

  Every day, I walk home the same way because I love stopping by my favorite candy store on Smart Street. I would go there and speak to Mr. and Mrs. Bard for a few minutes and then head home, but on this day something was unusual and a little bit off. A man stood in the store wearing a dark blue suit that was very clean, and he had on shades that looked very mysterious in person. Another thing that stood out was that he was all blue! He was talking to Mr. Bard about his new car, and as I stood there, he turned to me and smiled. His smile was creepy.

    I paid for my items and headed home the same way I always do, but I felt like I was being followed. I would walk for a few minutes and turn around, but no one would be there. I started to sprint just in case someone was following me. I turned down a different street because I thought someone was following me, and to my surprise, I was right. I went in through my back door from the alleyway, and my brother Jeremy was home and asked me about the man standing across the street from our house.

    I looked out of our peephole to see the same man that I saw talking to Mr. Bard at the candy store. He was just standing there watching with that same creepy smile on his face. My heart was still racing as I stood with my back against the door. I was filled with so much relief because I was able to get inside my home before anything happened. One thing that I do not understand is, "How did he know where I lived and which house to stand in front of?"
